Delivery FAQs

  • Is delivery and VAT included in the stated price?

    Yes, the price quoted includes VAT and delivery to your address.

  • Can I select a delivery day and time?

    In the checkout section of our website you can choose your delivery time & day from a drop down menu.

    Delivery Times you can specify are:
    Standard delivery between 8:ooam and 6:00pm
    Morning delivery (before 1pm) £10.00 charge
    Afternoon delivery (after 12pm) £10.00 charge.

    Delivery Days are:
    Standard delivery Tuesday through to Friday.
    Saturday delivery £30 charge.

    To get round this some of our customers choose a Friday delivery so the goods are there for the weekend.

    Please remember that turf needs to be layed A.S.A.P. especially in warm weather. 

  • How much will delivery cost?

    All of our prices include delivery.
    Delivery costs are calculated on quantity, postcode area, type of turf or topsoil together with the weight of the items.

  • How big is the vehicle you deliver on?

    Deliveries are made on an 18 tonne delivery vehicle.

    Generally, if a refuse truck can gain access down your road then the courier can.

    If you are concerned about access please give our team a call to discuss it further.

  • Do I have to be at my home when the delivery is made?

    We can arrange for the delivery to be left without a signature this does have to be arranged well in advance of the delivery.

    Goods cannot be left on the roadside.

  • Can I have a Saturday delivery?

    Yes deliveries can be arranged for Saturday, however this entails a £30 surcharge from our courier.

  • How is the turf delivered?

    We do not deliver by hi-ab vehicle so we cannot lift loads over walls, hedges or fence.

    We deliver the turf to the kerbside of the address, using a tail-lift wagon.

     The delivery needs to be made to a flat, hard standing area. Let us know if you think there may be potential access problems.

  • How much notice do I need to give for a delivery?

    As long as your order is received before 2pm we can offer a next-day delivery service.
    (No deliveries on Monday)
